This is my last blog. It is also my 200th blog.
I have found no readers. Since February 2018, there have been no comments on any of my blog posts. Google explained I sometimes had clicks on my website, but very few. Maybe they were accidents. Or extraterrestrials. Or ghosts. I’d like to think Big Foot (Sasquatch) looked in once in a while.
In any case, it is time to move on. I gave it a try, but it is not a total waste. I could use the blog entries about grant writing to one day put in a book.
My blog was an attempt at communicating with the world. The world did not communicate back. Hello, next attempt at a writing adventure.
Greetings Mr. Trice, I bought your book “Evidence of a Commuter Train” in NewBern, NC and could not find it on Goodreads to do a review.
I’m not surprised no one found your blog to comment on it, because blogs and websites just tend to just sit there unless you send out emails directing your friends to read a particular post. This takes up a lot of time and energy, which is why i havent done much blogging. Nevertheless i enjoyed the train book, I think you have created some memorable characters.
Thank you very much, Bonni, for commenting and reading my book. You’re the first person to comment on my blog and I appreciate it. Also, thank you for reading my book. I need to learn more about Goodreads.
Stanley,
I enjoyed your newsletter but don’t know how to reply to it. I think you should write what is compelling you and it sounds like the themed short story is as loud as the bird in North Carolina before the sun comes up.
If your readers have any choice, I vote you write a book about a man writing a book about grant writing. Your fictional voice is too good to waste but perhaps we could learn while being entertained.
Best,
Ashley
Thanks, Ashley, for your comments. I need to figure out how to reply on the newsletter. And thanks for the complement. I hope your book is coming along good. (you can email me at stanleybt@gmail.com)
